Cost:
15$ if you have preregistered, 25$ if you register on site. Note all fees are collected on site, pre-registration just involves registering on the web site. If you later find you cannot attend just log in and click “de-register” on the tournament page.
Prizes & special features:
We will have a good Go board & stones as the top prize. Other prizes TDB.
Ms. Park Sohyun 3P will be in attendance. Tentative plans for her:
- During rounds 1 & 2 review players games as players finish
- During rounds 3 & 4 simultaneous games for those who have lost 2+ games and want to play simuls instead.
Schedule:
Round 1: 10 – 11:45
Lunch: 11:45 – 12:30
Round 2 : 12:30 – 2:15
Round 3: 2:15 – 4:00
Round 4 : 4:00 – 5:45
Awards ceremony : 5:45 – 6:15
How to register:
Go to https://canadiango.org. Then:
- Select the “league” or “members” tab (they take you to the same place
- If you don’t have an account with the CGA, you will need to select the “join” option, and create an account. There is no charge for this
- Once you have an account, log in.
- Click on the “tournaments” page
- Click on “Toronto fall open”
- Click the register button
Note if you have skipped steps 2/3 you can still click through to the tournament page(or you might follow a direct link to the tournament page. But there will be no register button. You can tell if you are logged in by seeing that you have a “log off” option in the top right. If instead you have “log in” available to you in the top right you have not completed step 3.
